Exercise
Exercises are often offered in addition to lectures and seminars. Based on the knowledge imparted in the lecture and seminar, students learn about solution methods and strategies to solve concrete cases, problem situations and tasks. Exercises are didactically coordinated with the seminar and lecture in order to enable a deepening of the learning content. Contents of the lecture are first repeated in exercises before working on concrete tasks. Exercises are characterized by a high degree of activation in order to motivate the students to deal with the material. In authentic questions, the students work out solutions themselves or in small groups.
Typical teaching activities of the format:
  • activate
  • support | communicate | organise
