Glossary
With the glossary, StudOn provides you with a function for creating dictionaries and collections of term definitions. Any number of definitions can be added to the individual terms and designed in the form of a page of text, images and various multimedia elements.
Use:
Glossaries are used as reference works, which are created by teachers and made available to students. On the other hand, the glossary can also be designed and edited jointly by teachers and learners in an interactive process - if the administrator has assigned the appropriate rights.

Furthermore, the terms of the glossary can be linked in learning modules, so that it is not necessary to redefine terms already existing in a glossary in learning modules. Learners are thus given the possibility to navigate to the respective learning content via the glossary term.
A so-called virtual glossary can also be created. This contains additional terms and definitions of other glossaries, which are on the same or a subordinate level.
Create and edit a glossary
- Create a glossary using the 'Add new object' button.
- Give the glossary a name (preferably "Glossary...") and save.
- Enter a term you want to explain in the top left corner and click on the 'Add new term' button. The edit mode opens automatically, in which you can enter an explanatory text with the usual click on the strip.
- After saving, switch back to the 'Glossary' view.
- The glossary is put online via the 'Settings' tab.
