A Poll can be employed to obtain a brief overview of opinions on a specific topic. Alternatively, it can be used to facilitate the scheduling of appointments. Polls are an effective means of gathering rapid assessments, whereas surveys are more suitable for obtaining more extensive feedback.
  • It is only possible to pose one question at a time, which is displayed prominently on the right-hand side of the page. One or multiple responses may be submitted (in the format of a single or multiple choice question).
  • The outcome of the Poll can be made visible to students in one of three ways: always/directly after the vote has been cast/at the end of the Poll/or never.
  • A variety of display options are available for the results, including bar charts and pie charts.
  • The use of images provides a visual representation of the subject matter being voted on.
  • A poll can assess the prevailing mood at an event.
  • Students' needs can be accommodated through the scheduling of appointments and inquiries about specific topics of interest.
  • In addition, lecturers may pose questions designed to ascertain understanding during the course of the class, or to pose key questions on specific topics.
