Bayhost draws attention to the annual scholarships of the Free State of Bavaria 2025/26 for graduates from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe:
University graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary (with appropriate citizenship) can apply to BAYHOST / BTHA.
The scholarship serves to finance postgraduate studies (e.g. Master's degree) or a doctorate at a state or state-funded university or college in Bavaria. In addition, one-year research stays in Bavaria as part of a doctorate in the home country can be funded.
The scholarship is initially granted for one year and can be extended on application a maximum of two times (to a total of three years); the monthly funding amount is €934.
