The Faculty of Engineering is looking for a student assistant for social media (TV-L E 2, 8 hours/week), presumably starting April 1th, 2024. The team is located at Erlangen’s “Südgelände”.
You are a student at FAU? You are communicative, creative and confident online? You know how to handle social media platforms and enjoy producing content? Then join our team and support us in the area of social media, especially the creation of our faculty’s new Instagram account.
Your tasks:
• Production of target group-oriented and channel-specific content (texts, photos, graphics) in English
• Supporting in editorial planning, topic research and campaign strategy
• Community management, monitoring and reporting
Desired qualifications:
• Initial experience in editing professional social media channels (preferably university context) and journalistic writing
• Use of common Adobe Creative Cloud programs (including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• High affinity for social media and enthusiasm for digital storytelling
• Very good team and communication skills
• An independent and responsible way of working
