Vertiefungswissen anzeigenVertiefungswissen verbergen- The project report (sometimes called 'mini-thesis') should address a small research question, which can be linked to the master's thesis but also be an independent subject.
- A written report has to be submitted as for a thesis, which would usually comprise 15-25 pages.
- Students are supposed to spend about 300 h on the whole project including writing the report. It will usually be done part-time over a period of not more than six months. It can also be done full time.
- The project report is awarded with 10 ECTS and will be graded. Supervisors report the grade to the exam office (Fischer-Willmanns, Kerstin ) as they would do for a master's thesis. All lecturers who have the permission to hold exams can act as a supervisor.
- If the supervisor is neither a professor nor a 'Privatdozent' the first supervision of a project report has to be coordinated with the MAOT office.
