Save the Date: StudOn-Update am 6. & 7.03.2025

Zum kommenden Sommersemester 2025 wird StudOn auf die neueste ILIAS-Version 9 aktualisiert. Dazu geht StudOn vor dem Semesterstart vom 06. bis 07. März 2025 offline und ist damit nicht aufrufbar. Bitte planen Sie diese Unterbrechung bei den Vorbereitungen des Semesters mit ein.
Bereits im Februar steht allen StudOn-Nutzerinnen und -Nutzern eine eingefrorene StudOn-Testplattform zur Verfügung. Diese umfasst alle Inhalte und Materialien der aktualisierten Plattform. Nutzen Sie die Testplattform, um Kurse und Materialien zu überprüfen und uns Rückmeldungen zu geben. Die Testplattform ist nur zum Testen vorgesehen. Dort neu erstellte Inhalte werden später nicht in die neue StudOn-Hauptversion übernommen.
Detaillierte Informationen zu den wichtigsten Neuerungen und Veränderungen in der Plattform werden wir Ihnen zeitnah zur Verfügung stellen.

Wie kann ich mich über das Update Informieren?

Zu zentralen Meilensteilen des Updates informieren wir alle Nutzerinnen und Nutzer aktiv per E-Mail. Die E-Mails werden an die in Ihrem Profil hinterlegte E-Mail-Adresse versendet.
Im StudOn-News-Blog informieren wir Sie über alle Neuerungen und Veränderungen von StudOn 9, Veranstaltungstermine sowie Sprechstunden. Die StudOn-News können Sie ganz einfach abonnieren, indem Sie über das "Aktionen"-Menü rechts neben dem Glocken-Symbol "Änderungsbenachrichtigung aktivieren" auswählen. Ist die Glocke gelb, ist die Benachrichtigung aktiviert.
Im IdM-Portal der FAU können Sie unter „Einstellungen & Anträge“ >> uniweite „E-Mail-Abonnements“ das StudOn-Mailing „StudOn – Wartungen und Updates“ aktivieren. Damit erhalten Sie regelmäßig Informationen zu Wartungen und Updates von StudOn.
Begleitend zur Veröffentlichung der Testplattform im Februar sowie zum Update im März, bieten wir regelmäßig Online-Sprechstunden und Demonstrationen an, um sich mit den Neuerungen von StudOn 9 vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu klären. Angekündigt werden diese Termine über die oben beschriebenen Kanäle sowie den StudOn-Info-Banner.

For the upcoming summer semester 2025, StudOn will be updated to the latest ILIAS version 9. To carry out this update, StudOn will be offline and unavailable from March 6-7, 2025, before the start of the semester. Please keep this interruption in mind when planning for the semester.
A StudOn test platform, containing all content and materials from the current platform, will be available to all users starting in February. Use the test platform to review your courses and materials and report any issues to us. Please note that the test platform is for testing purposes only. Any new content created on the test platform will not be transferred to the new main StudOn version. 
We will provide you with detailed information about the key new features and changes to the platform soon. 

How can i Stay informed about the update?

We will keep all users informed about important updates regarding the StudOn upgrade via email. These emails will be sent to the email address saved in your profile. 
In the StudOn News blog, we will keep you informed about all new features and changes to StudOn 9, event dates, and office hours. You can subscribe to StudOn News by selecting "Activate Notification" from the actions menu to the right of the bell symbol. If the bell is yellow, the notification is activated. 
In the FAU's IdM portal, you can activate the StudOn mailing list "StudOn - Maintenances and Update" under "Settings & Applications" >> "Email subscriptions", tab "University". This will provide you with regular information on StudOn maintenance and updates. 
To accompany the release of the test platform in February and the update in March, we will be offering regular online consultations and demonstrations to help you familiarize yourself with the new features of StudOn 9 and answer any questions. These sessions will be announced via the channels described above and the StudOn info banner.
